In a remote Breton village resides a myth claiming that the sea hosts a Celtic divinity, guardian of the power to protect the human heart from all sadness. During an annual ritual, locals throw themselves at sea guided by the hope to be chosen and wash away their pain. Is this an act of hope or of desperation? How can someone enter in and trust this murky, icy water when it tastes like tears?
