A tormented and dissatisfied painter desperately tries to bring a bird to life on his canvas. Shut away in his studio, haunted by expectations and voices from the outside world, he destroys as much as he creates… From his window, he catches sight of a beautiful colorful bird, free and fragile. This vision transforms his gaze and rekindles his desire to paint. But in trying to capture this beauty, he is forced to confront the fragile boundary between creation and possession, inspiration and destruction.
