Mona, a woman confined in a psychiatric hospital, faces a psychiatrist who overwhelms her with his authority. He represents masculine violence: paternalistic, cold and destructive. She, through her imagination, embodies the sacred feminine, nature, beauty and inner freedom. The film creates tension between these two worlds and echoes medical violence, particularly medical violence against women, by asking a simple question: who is really sane?

I am Female director driven by the desire to give visibility to those who are rarely seen. I am committed to highlighting underrepresented or misrepresented people, especially women. I like to reveal a diversity of beauties and sensibilities that are often marginalized.
