Taste Me

Taste Me is a reflection on how sexualized marketing turns the female body into a product for consumption, and food into a metaphor for desire. Inspired by the aesthetics of food porn and advertising clichés, I exaggerate and push to the point of absurdity the language through which the industry sells not so much food as pleasure. The work combines self-portraits in which I literally become food and generative video sequences created at Midjourney using real advertising slogans with sexualized content as text prompts.
