NIKON FILM FESTIVAL BENELUX: SHORT FILMS, BIG TALENT!
The Nikon Film Festival Benelux is an inspiring platform dedicated to nurturing creativity and empowering emerging filmmakers throughout the region. Our mission is to shine a light on new voices and unique perspectives, offering every creator the chance to be seen and recognized. Every short film submitted to the festival will be featured on the official Nikon platform, ensuring that every story matters.
Launching its first edition in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in Spring 2026, the Nikon Film Festival Benelux is closely connected to the renowned Nikon Film Festival in Paris, which will celebrate its 16th year in 2026. Participants are invited to produce a short film of 2 minutes and 20 seconds, inspired by a theme set by the festival.
This event not only celebrates local talent but also serves as a springboard to international recognition. Winners from the Benelux competition will automatically be nominated for the Best International Film Award at the Nikon Film Festival in Paris, with the exceptional opportunity to have their films screened at the iconic Le Grand Rex cinema.

1/ Inspiration

2/ Registration
Create an account on the website, it takes a few seconds to receive all the informations about the festival!
3/ Directing
Prepare your project, plan your shooting and finalize your movie. Be careful to respect the duration of 2min20 and the set theme!
4/ Participation
Send your movie through your personal space before the deadline then complete the informations about the movie, the subtitles and the team!
5/ Confirmation
Once your participation validated, you will receive an email to discover the date of diffusion. Then, it will be your time to start!
