A young woman spends her days staring at images of idealized women on her phone. Constantly comparing herself to them distorts her perception of her own body. In her quest to meet these unrealistic standards, she gradually becomes trapped in self-destructive behaviors. The film follows an intimate and silent descent, revealing the destructive impact of images and social pressure on self-esteem.
My name is Alexandre Tourneur. An actor and director for twenty-five years, cinema opens up a space for me that the stage cannot offer. For this first short film, I created everything in paper sculptures and composed the music.
