Ayah

The story begins in Africa years ago, during a presidential campaign marked by fear, corruption, and violence due to individuals. Terrifying rumors spread: powerful groups abduct people with albinism for rituals believed to ensure victory. Ayah, a bright ten-year-old albino girl, is kidnapped but miraculously escapes. Knowing her daughter will never be safe, her mother sends her illegally to France. Growing up in Paris, Ayah lives between trauma and exile. However, she pursues her dream in the fashion world. She becomes a top model: celebrated, admired, yet haunted by a past she cannot escape.

I would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey. My team for their constant motivation, my friends and family for financing a large part of the project, and my mentors for helping turn an idea into reality. Special thanks to Derka for the original concept, and to Allen and IBA for their incredible work on post-production, completed in under 96 hours after filming, due to the movie being filmed 5 days before the Nikon Film Festival deadline.
